基于USB的LVDS信号传输误码率测试系统
A bit error rate measurement system for LVDS signal transmission based on USB interface
【摘要】 给出了一个利用USB2.0接口,两台PC机和百兆网线组成的LVDS信号传输误码率测试系统。该系统使用了随机数据源,测量了LVDS信号在30m传输距离,平均速率21.078Mbit/s条件下的误码率。给出了相应的测量图表和LVDS信号传输误码率的测量结果。该结果符合BESⅢμ子鉴别器的读出电子学系统设计要求。
【Abstract】 A BER (Bit Error Rate ) measurement system for LVDS signal transmission, which consists of USB interface and two computers and net cable, is introduced. A pseudo-random data source is used in this system. The system measured the BER of LVDS signal in the case of 30 m distance and average transmission frequency of 21. 078 Mbit/s. The measurement results are shown in plot and table. The results indicate that LVDS signal satisfies the requirement of BES Ⅲ ’s muon electronical readout system.
