【Abstract】 Two mistakes in operation which easily appear are pointed out when measuring radius of even convex lens with Newton ring :adjusting the screws too tight or too loose ,repeatedly reversing reading drum to eliminate the reversing space difference,and reasons of mistakes are illustrated; Also,several remarkable aspects are pointed out:the ascertaining of two end points of each ring diameter, the proper numerical values of rings to be measured.
