【Abstract】 Two issues are taken up in this paper: 1). convergence and divergence in the idea of autonomy in literary semiotics among various schools of formalism in the western countries; 2) on the nature of humanity of the idea. In an attempt to cut away literature from life by claiming "autonomy in literary semiotics", the formalist schools in the western countries really aim at interference into the society and life. By protecting and renovating literature, they mean to oppose to the hypocritic, unhealthy and fragmentary social life, so as to renovate people’s feeling and thinking modes, and harmonize social conflicts by metalanguage.更多还原
