【Abstract】 The paper described how to set up the communication network between WEST processing controller and upper SCADA system based on LabVIEW, and a common developing platform for Virtual Instruments. The hardware connection as well as the upper communion software is discussed in details, which shows great flexibility and functionality of LabVIEW in the field of the instrument control.
