催化剂对螺旋形碳晶须生长的影响

【摘要】 以Ni粉为催化剂,用化学气相沉积(CVD)法,在高温下催化热解乙炔(C2H2),制备出了螺旋形碳晶须材料。实验结果表明,Ni粉的颗粒尺寸及表面形貌对螺旋形碳晶须的形貌、直径、螺距有较大的影响。用直径为几十微米,表面为熔融状的小颗粒Ni粉作催化剂,制备的碳晶须呈绞绳状的较多,螺旋直径为130-180nm,螺距为100-350nm;用直径为几百纳米、表面为毛刺状的Ni粉作催化剂,则制备的碳晶须呈管状的较多,其螺旋直径为280-310nm,螺距为150-180nm。

【Abstract】 Coiled carbon whiskers were prepared by chemical vapor deposition(CVD)by using acetylene as a carbon source and nickel powder a s catalyst at high temperature.The r esult shows that the size and shape of nickel powder have great inf luence on the appearance,diameter a nd pitch of the coiled carbon whiskers.When the nickel powder is s urface melted,and with a diameter of tens of micron,it is easier to get twisted -string shaped carbon whiskers with a diameter between 130nm and 180nm,and a pitch of 100nm to 350nm.When the metal powder has a rough surface,within a diame ter of about several hundred micron,it is easier to get tu be -shaped carbon whiskers with a dia meter between 280nm and350nm,and a pitch between 150nm and 180nm.
