【Abstract】 The ctrt in China’s bronze age and that of ancient Greece were two consistent climaxes in human historical an. The art in China’s bronze age was represented as bronze ware, while the modeling an in ancient Greece was mainly reflected in carving. The bronze art was pregnant with the main particularity of China’s art, while the andent art bred the particularity of western art. Two sorts of arts created the classic norms from different ways, which is the premise for comparison.The differentiation of bronze art in China’s bronze age and carving art of ancient Greece can be compared from such art configuration as representational materials, skills, contents, representational forms, style character, etc.The highest achievement of ancient Greece’s modeling art was reflected in the carving of marble, which can be said that ancient Greece created the epic of marble. The major materials for the art in bronze age was bronze, it can he said that Shang and Zhou Dynasties were civilization periods for bronze castingThe bronze art in China’s bronze age, which was for special function, was witchcraft appliance and the implement of rights, whose resemblance was started from the exterior things, thus it was deeper than superficial meaning.
