【Abstract】 China and Thailand enjoy a long standing and profound friendship between the two peoples. Since the establishment of diplomatic relation in 1975, the traditional friend relationship has witnessed an all - dimensional development. The Sino - Thai relationship could be hailed as a role model of good - neighbor relations and mutually beneficial cooperation transcending different social systems. As an old friend of Chinese people, Princess SiRinton traveled across the land of China, having paid 18 visits to China within 23 years. Her immense fascination with and profound knowledge of Chinese history, language and culture have led to the publication of dozens of works on China and the translation of voluminous Chinese poems and novels. Princess SiRinton is an outstanding envoy of friendship between Chinese and Thai people, who plays an irreplaceable role in enhancing the dissemination of Chinese language and culture in Thailand and makes great contribution in promoting the mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.
