【Abstract】 Oxide scale of steel used for automobile manufacture was removed with pickling. Pickling process and sources of wastewater, exhaust gas and waste residue were introduced. Cleaner production by adopting alternative process, optimizing process criterion and enhancing process management in steel pickling was used to control pollution.
