Effects of amino acid chelating microelements on Micropterus salmoids
【Abstract】 The amino acid chelating polymers of Cu, Zn, Fe and Co were used as the additives added into the diets of Micropterus salmoids, respectively. The other groups of diets were added with CuSO4·7H20, ZnSO4·7H2O, MnSO4·H2O, FeSO4·7H2O and CoCl2·6H2O, respectively. Ten thousand individuals of M.salmoids were employed and the experiment period was 60 d. The added level for each treatment was Cu2+ 2 mg/kg, Fe2+ 150 mg/kg, Zn2+ 30 mg/kg, Mn2+ 12 mg/kg and Co2+ 2 mg/kg, respectively. The water temperature of the circulation system was maintained at 25 ℃. Each group had four repetitions. At the end of the rearing experiment, the growth, the immunity, and the tissues composition of the individuals were analyzed and the results showed that the elements in amino acid chelating form could increase the digestibility coefficient in M.salmoids, but could not obviously increase their weight, protein consumption rate and immunity. Furthermore, the fish in the groups of amino acid chelating polymers had high accumulating content of elements in their liver, muscle and serum compared to those in the inorganic groups, and the serum alkaline phosphatase activity tended to be lower than those in the inorganic groups. The conclusion is that there is no significant difference between the two groups of amino acid chelating microelements and inorganic elements in terms of growth, immunology and feed converse efficiency, and the fish in the former groups may accumulate elements in body tissues.
