一种新的抽取中心路径算法
A new algorithm for extracting center path
【摘要】 在基于距离变换的基础上,设计了一种新的快速算法.该算法不但能处理单分支结构的对象,还能处理多分支结构的对象.根据起点或已找到的中心路径上的当前点与终点的位置关系,确定下一中心点所在切平面的位置,在两维切平面中计算体素到表面的距离,将局部最大值(距对象表面的距离大于邻近体素的距离)作为中心路径上的体素点.还提出了删除中心路径中多余分支的方法,确保中心路径也是惟一的.
【Abstract】 This new algorithm is a key factor for virtual endoscopy to extract the center path. The authors introduced a new fast algorithm suitable for single branch and multibranch objects based on distance transform. A section plane including the next center point was determined according to the location relationship between the present center point on the center path and the object’s start point or end point. The distance from inner voxels to boundary surface was computed in section plane, not in 3D space. The voxel point with local maximum distance value (the distance value of a point in section plane is larger than its neighbor voxels’ distance value) was taken as the next center point. The method for removing redundant branches on the centerline of the multibranch object was presented to ensure that the center path was unique. This algorithm is faster and more efficient than other algorithms based on the distance transform.
