利用遗传突变基因改良特用玉米──紫糯玉米遗传与育种的几个问题
Applicating Genetic Mutant Gene for Improving Particular Kind of Maize ──Disscussion on the Genetics and Plant Breeding of Purple Glutinous Maize
【摘要】 概述玉米子粒色素在糊粉层受多对基因控制。紫色糯玉米的遗传较为复杂,早年,麦克林托克(Mclintock,B.)指出的跳跃基因,在80年代探明这类跳跃基因导致的玉米花斑色突变,实质上是受转座子控制。紫糯玉米青穗市场的需求与紫糯玉米色素的遗传形成了矛盾,难以克服。紫糯玉米的育种方法是值得研究的课题。
【Abstract】 This paper described the control problem on maize pigment in aleurone by multi-pair genes.The ge-netics of purple glutinous maize is rather complicated.The jumping gene discovered by Moclintock,B.in early year had been comfirmed to be a source in1980s which results in the mottled mutation.In effect,the jumping gene is controlled by transposition.The market requirment for youngling ears versus the genetics of pigment becomes a contradiction,Which is hard to be tackled.Therefore,the plant breeding methed of purple glutinous is a projects worthly of research.
