【Abstract】 After a simple track and inspect of the content of constitutionalism in western countries, this thesis argues that constitutionalism is not only an institutional agreement on limiting of public power and constructing limited government, more important, it should express subjectivity sense, attitudes and spirits toward constitutionalism of the people, with a just realistic concerning and a worldly ultimate concerning.
