西昆仑山前晚新生代沉积岩磁组构及构造意义

【摘要】 西昆仑山前晚新生代沉积岩磁组构特征表明,沉积岩原生磁组构受后期构造活动改造.磁组构测试结果表明晚新生代沉积岩发生较明显变形,岩石磁化率椭球体指示磁面理较发育,反映岩石受压扁型变形为主.磁化率椭球体最小轴方向为NW指示该区最大主压应力为NW,与区域构造分析结果相一致.

【Abstract】 The Late Cenozoic sediments from two sections in west Kunlun were collected for their magnetic fabric study. The magnetic fabric is characterized by well-developed foliation AMS ellipsoids and a larger degree of corrected anisotropy (P’>1.20). The minimum axis directions mostly trend NW-SE and NNE-SSW, implying a locally variable tectonic influence on the magnetic fabrics throughout the region. The sedimentary fabric was probably induced by deformation active in the compressive tectonic setting. Magnetic anisotropy of the Miocene sediments from the Wuyitake and Kekeya sections of western Kunlun shows two different directions of the regional stress, indicates an initial sedimentary-compactional magnetic fabric has been overprinted by a secondary tectonic fabric. The AMS data have been well integrated with the available structural data in the region.
