【Abstract】 Unlike in the case of usual structures on the surface, it is difficult to express the support condition of tunnel surrounding rock in terms of quantity due to the indefiniteness of model and parameters. Therefore it is necessary to establish a set of design methods corresponding to tunneling characteristics. In this paper the observational design of newly built tunnels is discussed and some urgent problems to be solved are put forward, for instance the system and completeness of observational design, relevant specifications and softwares as well as their feasibility.更多还原
