【Abstract】 When Mr Weng Tonghe’s diary was published in 1925,Mr Weng’s later generations and Zhang yuanji intentionally deleted some relevant words in the diary, based on the viewpoint that "something that can damage the great master’s image should me avoided". The authors redisplay the deleted words by contrasting the manuscript of the diary and the photo-offset copy,which has the refrential value for the studies of Mr Weng himself and the history of late Qing Dynasty.更多还原
