【Abstract】 It is a method that is not only simple but also practical and easy to master for personnel who are in grass roots level unit and are in charge of the management of the reservoir,using the upstream recorded flood peak which is forecasted from hydrologic station that is located upstream of the reservoir to derive the flood volume and further to pre- estimate the reservoir inflow of the flood for the conduction of the reservoir operation during flood season and for the determination of the problem whether the flood should be stored or not in the reservoir.By this method,for the flood in 1996,as an example ,aboot 20 000 000 (RMB)in flood protection benefits was achieved downstream of Fenhe reservoir owing to the peak of floods were staggered through the reservoir operation in time.更多还原
