【Abstract】 In 1933, Luxun asked Cai Yuanpei for the publishing rights to The Erudite rage , which is a collection of paintings by Chen Laolian. Chen Laolian was a Chinese artist famous from the end of the Ming Dynasty to the beginning of the Qing Dynasty. Chen’s The Erudite Page is still one of the most priceless works of art in China. Zhou Ren, who was Cai Yuanpei’ s brother - in - law, was also a famous scholar. He at one time owned the book, The Erudite Page .
