【Abstract】 The characteristics and relationship of the cultures in the Pearl River Delta, Hong Kong and Macao are studied. It is shown that there are necessity and possibility for cultural conformity in the whole region. The necessity for cultural conformity includes integrating the regional economy, extending the cultural characteristic of the whole region and improving the cultural meaning in economic development. The possibility for cultural conformity involves the identical culture root, the same geographical environment, historical background and human features in the region. The cultural conformity is helpful for the regional economic development, especially when the single cooperation in economic field can not satisfy the integral development. Then the target and contents of the cultural conformity are pointed out, and the main problems and the corresponding solutions of the cultural conformity are discussed briefly.更多还原
