从颜色词看中西文化差异

【摘要】 颜色词汇被广泛运用于语言中,折射出不同国家和民族的文化内涵。从红色、白色、黑色、黄色、蓝色、绿色等六种主要颜色词的中文和英文中的含义可以看出中西文化的差异。通过对"颜色"词汇的系统了解,可以使人们提高英语兴趣,拓宽文化视野。

【Abstract】 Words and phrases relevant to colors are widely used in languages. With the help of English and Chinese examples, this paper focuses on six major colors, compares and illustrates their usages and metaphorical meanings. It aims to help learners acquire a basic knowledge about "color" so that they can broaden cultural vision and improve their interest in English.
