【Abstract】 “马湖蛮”?was in history an ancient minority located in the downstream of the Jinsha River. According to history,"马湖蛮"was traced back to "马湖江"and"马湖" "马湖蛮"perhaps came from several ancient minorities. From the Han Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty,the tie between the Mahu tribe and the central government was strengthened.
