金刚石薄膜在粒子探测器中的应用
Diamond Films for Particle Detection Applications
【摘要】 本文分析了金刚石薄膜作为粒子探测器的优势和劣势,介绍了金刚石薄膜粒子探测器的机理和电极结构、“探测器级”金刚石薄膜的主要制备方法和金刚石薄膜粒子探测器的发展水平。同时报道了我们制备的金刚石薄膜探测器在X射线和α粒子辐照下的响应测试结果,并分析了实现高性能探测器的障碍。
【Abstract】 In this paper, the diamond film’s advantages and disadvantages as a particle detector are analyzed. The techniques of fabrication, the mechanism of the detector, the configurations of its electrodes, as well as the level of development, are introduced. Meanwhile, a diamond film particle detector has been successfully fabricated in our laboratory. The detector performance was tested by measuring the energy spectra of α-particles emitted from an 241Am source and the response to X-ray. The obstacles of realizing detectors with high performance are also pointed out.
