【摘要】 本文从知识经济所需的终身学习时代的来临 ,阐述了在学习意识普遍化和学习行为社会化的环境里 ,高校图书馆如何加强其教育职能 ,做社会终生学习的推动者和素质教育的促进者。图书馆员应成为读者“学会学习”能力的培养者和终身学习的引导者

【Abstract】 Knowledge-based economy calls for life-long education. Against such ba ckground, the paper discusses how to fulfill educational functions of university libraries so as to promote the life-long learning and quality-oriented educatio n in the atmosphere of the popularized learning consciousness and socialized lea rning behavior.
