【Abstract】 The principle of using rough set theory to determine the empirical rules and formulas in blasting engineering under complex conditions are described. A series of methods are given, such as combination of qualitative and quantitative factors, determination of the relative importance of factors, elimination of redundant factors and automatic grouping of data of observation points.
