【摘要】 基于缓冲区溢出的攻击是一种常见的安全攻击手段,文中从编程的角度分析了缓冲区溢出攻击(BOFA)、攻击成功的条件及攻击分类,并分析了抵御BOFA的方法。最后给出了一个能有效抵御BOFA的软件RAP的工作原理和算法。

【Abstract】 In this paper,we describe the principle of buffer overflow attacks,classified attack patterns,and their defense methods.Finally we present a software RAP (Return Address Protector) to detect buffer overflow attacks (BOFA) and protect the system from being attacked by BOFAs.
