【Abstract】 Line extracting plays a significant role in layout analysis. This paper presents a Hough transform-based structuring element constructing (HTSEC) method and a mathematical morphology-based line extracting(MMLE) method, in which grayscale image is changed into binary image using halftone technology.Using Hough transform to detect the skew of a line and then to construct structuring elements, all lines from document image can be extracted by mathematical morphology.更多还原
