【Abstract】 Data mining technology has a prosperous future in rea l world applications.Research and development into data mining software system w ith independent intellectual right is very important in China.Such a system called Smart-Miner is proposed based on the research fulfillments in data minin g algorithms and expert systems achieved by the writers.SmartMiner presents a mining definition language,MDL,and a script language that describes mining s cenarios.SmartMiner develops a mining wizard and a visualization wizard,and in tegrates data warehousing functionalities.Its min-ing engine has a kind of int elligence in that it employs heuristics to select algorithms and to adjust envi ronment set-tings,and its architecture is open since the modules follow the C OM standard.SmartMiner has been incorporated into a decision support system for a franchising business company.更多还原
