一个基于机群的可扩展的Web缓存服务器
A Scalable Web Caching Server Based on Cluster
【摘要】 解决分层缓存系统较高层缓存器的瓶颈问题可用扩展性好的机群系统来实现。文章在分析了目前已有的两种典型的机群缓存服务器的基础上,提出了一个新的Web缓存服务器系统。在新系统里引入了摘要缓存机制,使系统形成单一缓存映像,达到快速访问的目的。摘要信息文件的缩短和单一入口点只传输请求不传输响应的机制,减轻了系统里请求分配器的负担,系统可扩展性好。解决缓存系统的热点文件和机群系统的异构性问题的动态负载平衡算法有利于提高系统的吞吐率。
【Abstract】 Scalable cluster may solve the higher-level bottleneck problem of hierarchical caching system.A new Web caching server is proposed based on analyzing two typical cache clusters.In the new cache cluster,a digest cache technique is introduced to make it become a single caching system and aim at fast access.The load of the dispatcher is lightened by storing shorter digest information and transmitting request information merely,so the scalability of the cache cluster is better.The dynamic load -balancing algorithm dealing with hot files and heterogeneity cluster has improved the throughput of the system.
