【摘要】 数字信号处理器(DSP)广泛应用于各种信息处理系统中,同时I2C也是一种广泛使用的芯片间的通讯总线,所以在实际应用中,DSP与I2C总线接口的问题十分重要。通过对DSP及I2C总线读写时序的分析,提出了一种在DSP上实现I2C主接口的方案。方案利用DSP外部存储器接口,以及锁存器和缓冲器实现I2C接口硬件,并由软件控制I2C读写流程,具有硬件设备简单、可靠性高等特点。同时给出了用TMS320C80DSP实现该方案的例子并对其可行性进行了验证。

【Abstract】 DSP has been widely used in various information systems and interintegrated circuitl I2C bus is a popular communication bus used to communicate between different chips. Therefore it is very important to effectively design an interface between DSP and I2C. Through the deep analysis of the writing and reading time diagrams of DSP and I2C bus, a solution (hardware and software design) to implement I2C interface based on DSP is proposed. By use of the external memory interface of DSP,fliplatch and buffer, DSP can be communicated with I2C devices correctly. The writing and reading flow of I2C devices are controlled by software and high reliability is achieved through simple hardware devices. The example of TMS320C80 DSP is also proposed. 
