硅PIN光敏二极管探测X、γ射线的性能及应用
The performance and application of a silicon PIN diode detecting in X- and γ-rays
【摘要】 介绍了硅PIN光敏二极管和电荷灵敏前放组成的X射线探测器和配合CsI(Tl)晶体构成的γ射线探测器的性能和测量结果,同时研究了光敏二极管探测器能量分辨率的温度特性。测量X射线时,在-10℃下对241Am的59.5keV射线的能量分辨率为4.8%;用PIN光敏二极管配合10mm×10mm×10mm的CsI(Tl)晶体测量γ射线时,在20℃下对137Cs0.662MeVγ射线的能量分辨率为9.9%,60Co的1.332MeVγ射线的能量分辨率为6.4%,-10℃下的能量分辨率分别为8.7%和6.3%。
【Abstract】 The performance and measurement result of a PIN detector used in Xray and γray detections are reported. When the PIN Xray detector is coupled to a CsI(Tl) scintillator, it can be used inγray detection. The temperature characteristics of the energy resolution are studied. An energy resolution of 4.8% for 59.5keV Xray of 241Am at -10℃ is obtained. When the photodiode is coupled to a 10×10×10mm3 CsI(Tl) scintillator, the energy resolutions of 9.9% for 0.662 MeV γray of 137Cs and 6.4% for 1.332 MeV of 60Co are obtained at 20℃. When the temperature is decreased to -10℃, the energy resolution are improved to 8.7% and 6.3%, respectively.
