【Abstract】 The essay of late Ming Dynasty was a completely independent free style in the developing history of Chinese ancient prose. Tang Xianzu created a lot of essays and became one of the important writers in the high tide of the creation of essays in Late Ming Dynasty. He made an important contribution to bringing forth new ideas to the ancient essay. Tang Xianzu’s creation of essays was done under the guidance of his literary propositions and artistic temperament. His noble inspiration was in the agreement with social tide, having the characteristic of the mixture of propositions, feelings, presentation of ideas and language.
