【Abstract】 This paper introduces some characteristics of permanent-magnet magnetic circuit and electromagnetic design of rare-earth permanent-magnet synchronous generators, and simply analyzes voltage regulation of the generator, improvement of the voltage waveform, and the relations between the optimum working point and max. demagnetizing working point of the permanent magnet.
