【Abstract】 Based on the principle of ship statics, the authors deduce a method to calculate the metacentre height and the inclined angle when a heavy cargo is loading or unloading by a derrick on board the ship. This formula shows the factors that influence the stability of a ship. A practical method to increase stability and reduce inclined angle is also put forward in this paper. 更多还原
