【Abstract】 This article probes into methods and techniques of building information system of forest resource management, thoroughly analyzes the application of forest resource management information system in archive management of forest resource information, survey and monitoring of forest resource, thematic analysis and macroscopical decision making based on practical application. It also introduces the meanings, ways and impact of “3S" technology on forest resource management in Badaling forest center, building process of forest resource geographic information system in Badaling forest center.
