PP/EPR/纳米CaCO3三元共混体系的研究

【摘要】 采用双辊混炼和挤出制样的方法制备了PP/EPR/纳米CaCO3复合材料。采用扫描电镜(SEM)、透射电镜(TEM)对复合材料进行了断面观察,并测试了复合材料的力学性能。结果表明,对纳米CaCO3进行表面改性和用适当的共混方法,可以显著提高复合材料的冲击强度。对复合材料冲击断面进行SEM观察时发现,材料发生了韧性断裂。

【Abstract】 PP/EPR/nano-CaCO3 composite has been prepared by melt-blending. The mechanical properties of the composite and the dispersion of nano-CaCO3 were investigated by means of SEM, TEM and mechanical properties test. The results showed that the surface modification and appropriate blending of nano-CaCO3 could greatly increase the impact strength of the composite. TEM showed that nano-CaCO3 was uniformly dispersed in the composite at a nanometer scale. Analysis of fractured surface proved that the toughening of the composite was due to the stress yielding of the matrix.
