【Abstract】 Prevailing social custom belongs to a lower level of social psychological phenomena,but it plays an important role for the form, development and maturity of the undergraduates, while the psychological characteristics of the undergraduates make them counteract a certain social custom. The historical materialists believe that there is no reason to complain or dispise any kind of social custom.
