【Abstract】 Based on the strong ground motion data, we adopt empirical attenuation relationships and utilize regression statistical analysis method to study the relations between vertical and horizontal acceleration response spectra. The result shows that the relation between vertical and horizontal ground motion is comparatively intricate. It is various that the spectra ratio of vertical and horizontal acceleration response spectra at different periods affected by the earthquake magnitude and distance. Therefore, the modus is not available that the vertical component of the ground motion is converted from its horizontal component by a simple coefficient.更多还原
