【Abstract】 In this paper, by the analysis of relationship between railway freight needs and economic development; between railway network mileage increasing and the developing process of projects in well-developed countries, reached a conclusion that there is one-to-one responding relationship between railway network expansion, railway freight needs and national economic development.
