【摘要】 随着小波分析的理论研究水平不断提高,其应用领域也在不断地扩展。特别是在信号和图像处理方面,由于小波变换具有良好的时频局部化性能,使其在该领域有着广泛的应用。本文通过对小波函数、多分辨分析等小波变换的有关概念和理论的介绍,以及对矢量量化方法的分析,提出了一种基于小波变换和矢量量化的图像编码方法,并在计算机上模拟实验,得到较好的重建效果。更多还原

【Abstract】 Since the theoretical research of wavelet analysis has been improved from time to time, the field to which the wavelet transform is applied also expands day by day. Especially it is widely used in signal and image processing because of its good feature of time - frequency localization. After we introduce the conception and the theory concerning the wavelet function and the multi - resolution analysis, and analyze the method of vector quantization, a coding method of still image based on wavelet transform and vector quantization is presented in this paper. The reconstructive result obtained from the computer simulation by means of this method is good.更多还原
