【Abstract】 The kinds, distribution, harm and growing periods of farmland weeds in Qinhuangdao area were given on the spot investigation. Altogether 53 families, 158 genus and 240 species of farmland weeds distribute throughout this area. Among them there are 6 families, 11 genus and 12 species of malignant weeds, 1 family, 1 genus and 4 species of parasitic weeds, and 46 families, 141 genus and 288 species of common weeds.
