【Abstract】 ：Reviews and generalizes the basic theori es of compe tition, competitiveness and international competitiveness in economics, offering a reference to the current discussion on industrial monopoly and competition in C hina. It introduces and analyses the updated evaluation results of China’s inter nationa l competitiveness according to the authoritative international organiz ations concerned and points out some main critical problems that exist in China’ s internat ional competitiveness.
