【Abstract】 The transcription system of Teaching Yourself College English is out of date. It’s not a good way to tran-scribe only the British pronunciation, and some words are even wrongly transcribed. The author doesn’ t think the original aim of the column of New Words has been met. A few mistakes in other aspects in the book are also dis-cussed .更多还原
