铕(Ⅲ)与苯甲酰丙酮、邻菲咯啉和丙烯酸四元配合物及其SiO2复合材料的制备和光致发光性能

【摘要】 用氯化铕与苯甲酰丙酮(BA)、邻菲咯啉(Phen)和丙烯酸(AA)在乙醇溶液中反应,合成了铕(Ⅲ)的 相应四元配合物Eu(BA)2(AA)Phen.用EDTA容量法测定了Eu3+的浓度,元素分析测定了C、H、N的质量 浓度,结合红外光谱确定了四元配合物的组成.用溶胶-凝胶法合成了四元配合物的SiO2基质复合材料, SiO2:Eu(BA)2(AA)Phen.研究了该四元配合物和其 SiO2复合物的红外吸收光谱、紫外可见吸收光谱及光致发 光性能,重点分析了四元配合物的光致发光机理.结果表明,该配合物中的配体吸收激发光的能量后,能 有效地传递给中心Eu3+,发出强的Eu3+的特征荧光.并考查了SiO2:Eu(BA)2(AA)Phen复合材料的荧光寿命 及其热稳定性,SiO2基质的包裹作用延长了配合物中Eu3+的荧光寿命

【Abstract】 A new tetrabasic complex of europium (Ⅲ) with 1-phenyl-1 , 3-butanedione ( BA), acrylic acid ( AA) and 1 , 10-phenanthroline( Phen)was synthesized by reaction of europium chloride with these three ligands in ethanol solution. Elemental analysis showed that the composition of the complex is Eu( BA)2 ( AA) Phen. Infrared absorption spectral analysis confirmed the formation of the tetrabasic complex. The complex was also incorporated into silica matrix by a sol-gel method with various molar ratios of SiO2 to Eu( BA)2( AA) Phen. Characteristic fluorescence emission of Eu3+ ion was found in the emission spectra both for the solid complex and for the SiO2 composites, and he emission was due to the 5D0→7Fj transition of 4f electrons of the central Eu3 + ions. So a energy-transfer mechanism from the ligands to the central europium ions was proposed for the photoluminescence of the tetrabasic complex. It was also found that the SiO2 film prolonged fluorescence lifetime of central Eu3 + in the complex.
