【Abstract】 Under the guidance of General Secretary Jiang Zeming’s important thought of "three representa- tives", Chinese youth league should move toward the following targets: strengthening its consciousness of party interests, focusing on the political orientation, reflecting the communist party’s requirement, grasping the fun- damental premise of advanced quality, serving youth’s rights and interests, embodying its primary nature for general people, adjusting to the new environment, and highlighting the essential requirement for its creativity. Only after achieving these targets, can a new strong youth league be restructured as a result. Such a new type of youth league will be directed with Deng Xiaoping’s theory, pushed to the frontline as the communist party’s follower. It should also take its root in general youths, and lead them to strive for the enterprise of constructing socialism with Chinese characteristics.更多还原
