【Abstract】 It is thought that the advancing distance of crushing stations in surface mines should make the advancing dependent cost get compensated and the transport cost be minimum. Based on the advancing rule of crushing stations, the determination principle, process and method of the advancing distance were proposed, and the formula of determining the advancing distance was given.
