【Abstract】 In order to investigate the value of serum and uric β2-microglobulin (β2-MG) concentration in the diagnosis of early renal function impairment in patients with essential hypertension (EH), the serum and uric β2-MG levels of 36 patients with EH were measured with radioimmunoassay, and compared with the levels of serum creatinine (Cr) and BUN.
