【Abstract】 Choice of the subject matter is an important aspect of the relation betwen poetry and fu. In the Jianan age, there occured an awareness of evolving the form of writing, which was characterized by purifying literariness of the content of literary creation and sticking out the emotion-expressing function of literature in itself. This evolution was in line with the then spirit of age, the spirit of "elegance, goodness and generosity", causing the creative writing of poetry and fu to be in most cases controlled by the strong subjective emotion-expressiveness, thus resulting in an outstanding, universal phenomenon that choice of the subject matter tended to be of the same sort. At the time between the Wei and Jing Dynasties, that phenomenon still remained to exist in writers’ creation of poetry and fu,, but the creation under the same subject declined, for writers came to pay more attention to the "different" of the subject matter when writing poetry and fu for example, the writers of the Taikang period making a more conscious choice of the subject matter for their poetryor fu writing, since they had a deep understanding of "poetry rising out of feelings" and "fu embodying things".更多还原
