【Abstract】 A new way of raising cuttings survival rate for Populus tomentosa cuttage propagation was studied in this paper. By soaking 1/3 top of cuttings with paraffin wax in 5.8 hm 2 in 1995~1997,the experiment reached good results. The results show that this method can not only raise cuttings survival rate but enhance biomass of cuttage seedlings compared with the method soaking cuttings in water. Raising percentages of survival rate, height, base diameter, fresh weight and dry weight of young plant by cutting are respectively 28.9%,36.1%,76.8%,98.6% and 89.5%. Average rooting number of treated cuttings is 15.3 , but contrast is only 7.9.更多还原
