【摘要】 本文探讨了翻译研究与语言研究之间的关系,简要分析了前者之所以没能成为科学的原因。本文重新定位了翻译研究的目标,即翻译探索应该致力于对翻译现象的描写和解释,并以此来构建系统的翻译知识体系即翻译理论。要达到这样一种目标,翻译研究方法论的改革势在必行。由此,作者提出建立科学的研究范式,指出科学范式可能是将翻译研究发展成为一门科学学科的途径。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper discusses the close relation between contemporary linguistics and translation studies, and analyzes the causes of the latter抯 failure to become a science. It proposes that translational inquiry should strive for descriptive and explanatory adequacy in theory and to attain such a goal of translation theory there is a great need for reform in the research methodology. The paper claims that a scientific paradigm is probably the way to develop translation studies into a scientific discipline.更多还原
