【Abstract】 With the advances in ultra\|thin film epitaxial growth and micro\|fabrication,many semiconductor quantum devices have been developed.Based on quantum theory,the new field of quantum electronics and quantum optoelectronics has evolved,devoted to studies of the principle,structure and applications of semiconductor quantum devices.The time is now ripe to introduce a series of lectures on “The Physics of Semiconductor Quantum Devices”.As the first lecture,semiconductor heterostructures and quantum structures,including their energy band structures and state density profiles,will be presented.更多还原
