【Abstract】 The most ideal lining for Cheng Yu new railway channel is Chengdu—Lezhi—Anyue—Tongliang—Chongqing. This short and straight path should be planned and designed as a high speed railway. During the initial stage of operation, there will be trains running at the speed of 200 km/h. The high speed railway will create a competitive advantage in Cheng Yu passenger transport market and eventually contribute to the arising of China’s western new economy highland.
